Happy 26th Birthday Abang!

My husband is not 26 years old today and this 'Abang' is not him :P. Today (27th April 2008) is my 2nd brother birthday. By the way, we only have 1 kakak (myself - being the eldest) and 1 Abang (the 4th one - also the 2nd brother) in our siblings. We just call the rest with names (Fuad is the 2nd one / also 1st brother, Bada/Shima is the 3rd / also 2nd sister and Afir is the last one).


How he got to be called 'Abang'? It started when he was 4 years old - he insisted everyone to call him Abang after he acted as an Abang in a mak mak games (main mak mak).


Our age difference is 8 years old. When he was a toddler and wasn't be able to walk yet, I was the one who had to carry him whenever I wanted to go out and play (Ma was busy in the kitchen). I was like his babysitter when he was small. I was scolded for letting him jatuh longkang. I was pinched after mistakenly kicking his b*ll when he was 3! (Sakitnya laaa..).


He resembles me the most. One day, when Fairuz was about 8 years old, Bada's friend came to our house. She was looking at our family's photo album and found a picture of me (when I was 7 @ 8) wearing a dress and standing on a chair. She asked Bada,

"eh! kenapa Fairuz pakai gown?"

Bada told us about that incident. Of course we had our biggest laugh then. Before Fairuz took that picture and torn them into small pieces, I had a look at the picture again. I was really like him then (sebijik!).

Do you think we still look the same? It's either he has got my feature or I have his feature (but we're 2 different sexes!)

Among 5 siblings, I could say, Fairuz is the most patience one - anything concerns our parents especially. Sometimes, we had different opinions with our parents' but he chose to remain neutral. Most of the time, he agreed with our parents.

Tabik Tuan!

A few days before I left for S@udi, I went to see him in Pulap0l. He hugged me and cried. I was crying too, thinking that we would miss each other as I would stay far away. Recently (on 12th April 2008), I missed his big day - his graduation day in Pulap0l. He's now an official Policeman - a career that was never in his mind when he was small.


Though I wasn't there, I'm lucky enough to be able to look at his picture on his graduation day. Congratulations Abang! Kakak is very proud of you. Kakak hope Abang will be a trustworthy police officer. Insyaallah...

By the way, the girl who was standing besides him is not his fiancee. She's my sister, Bada. She purposely sent me this photo to make me jealous. Deep inside, I am actually jealous huhuhuuuuu!!!
