"Ummi, bibik takde!"
Yes.. she's gone! Gone with the wind. She... the one that I wrote about in here and here has left my house without informing anyone of us.
Sophea went to her room to perform Asar prayer yesterday evening. I guess she went to the bathroom for wudhu' and noticed the bibik wasn't anywhere in the house. She came to me and informed me about the missing. I went out of my room and checked the closet. Her bags weren't there. She has left with unlocked door but the house keys were still at the door knob.
I noticed the difference this morning. She woke up really late. She was more quiet than usual. Whenever she did housechores, her mind was in somewhere else. When I asked her to do something, she didn't do it right. She kept repeating the mistakes. She looked really blur especially today!
After confirming she wasn't in the house, I locked the door and went to my room. I rang Abang up, informed him about what had happened. Abang contacted the agent. The agent has promised to get us a replacement a.s.a.p. Meanwhile, we are back to a square one. Back to the previous 2 months. I have to accept there is a hikmah for this to happen.
She has told me before that she had runaway from one of the employers. The reason given - she was almost raped by the employer. She said, she's not scared of being outside alone since she could converse in Arabic fluently. Now she did it again. I question about her story then. Noticing her smiling at a stranger (whom I think was a man) in the grocery store yesterday, has doubted me a lot! It is something that shouldn't be done by a woman in the Saudi.
Things had happened. Alhamdulillah, she didn't bring my kids with her. Also, I don't think she took any of our belongings since I was in my room when she left. Furthermore, everytime I went out, I always made a point to lock my room.
I have nothing else to do but pray to Allah to ease things for me and my family. Ameen...
